My roommate (who originally owned the computer, I bought it off him and he’s very tech savvy) tried troubleshooting it and he installed Ryzen to help manage the dual monitor setup, since he thought maybe that could be an issue. no dice (though I’m glad I upgraded it anyways for GIS and adobe products). Today I upgraded the RAM to 64gb from 16gb to see if that would resolve the issue. For some reasons, that suddenly makes everything freeze. I won’t even be doing anything too in depth - I have done much more with this software than what I’ve been doing, which is drawing lines to create a streetscape. Suddenly out of nowhere, it constantly freezes and I have to force quit it. Soon after I started using 2020, it auto updated to 2021. I started using AutoCAD 2020 about a month ago, haven’t had any issues at all. I recently got my desktop, first time using a PC in over a decade but I needed to use windows for numerous reasons and I wanted a dual monitor setup.
